With
over 70 cars racing throughout the weekend, the pits were busy and the
racing as entertaining as ever. |

The
field of 37 bangers included 4 volvos and several Astras. The Junkyard
dogs came out with a fine display of Bluebird estates while Warrior
fielded one of 4 Capris. Having gone to the trouble of sorting a V6 Ford
powered Volvo estate, John Morley couldn't keep the bus straight for too
long. Steve Baker turned out in the only, but very smart, Cortina and
used it well. Other cars featuring briefly were 280 straight six Merc
and an all conquering Bluebird that finally put a stop to Warrior in the
DD

As the
meeting drew to a close the weather turned a little damp but overall it
was a great weekend. |
