The end of season funday certainly rounded off the year well. Well done to all those who took part. Thanks also to Alan Ganter for the photos of his trusty steed!.

bangers
Well, one of the best end of season fun days I've been to. 6 front wheel drives, 9 rear wheel drives and 7 juniors ran two close heats in the morning. Adi brought his very quickspecial out again and soon showered the rest in mud.
With a fine turn out of 27 Stockrod Rookies and 17 Bangers, there was plenty of action during the morning heats. Some drivers made the most of the cars by double driving in both the Stockrod heats and the bangers.

The afternoon followed with 8 chained pairs bangers proved highly entertaining. Anti clockwise races and relays for Juniors and Seniors all kept the attention. Did anyone else witness the barrel rolling Trummy - and it still ran on for the rest of the race.

metro
Drive of the day must go to Junior racer Paul Hoskins (No 50) for his superb performance in the anti clockwise race. Finishing second after losing out in a race long battle with a hard charging Sam Richards. No one else on the track could stay with them - and this in a junior prepared, 1000cc metro going the wrong way round. Fantastic. various
