July 25 - Over 60
cars braved the warm and dry day with the water bowser keeping the
dust down and the track a little unpredictable at times.
|
|
|
10 juniors again
fought hard for their points finding the slippery track a bit tricky
at times.
|
|
Several
new cars appeared, although FWD HotRod Ian Owens switch to Rover power
ended with another sick motor.
Adi Bown brought the only
special and ran with the RWD productions.
RWD hotrods put in some very
quick races, sharing the wins throughout the day. |

31
Stockrods entertained well. Warrior looked quick in the Sierra but there
was a host of very entertaining cars on track sharing the spoils. Nice
to see a number of Ringwood area cars again adding to the action.
Heat one came the closest I've
seen to having a blocked track - such was the carnage on the start
finish straight.
Great entertainment. |

The
day was rounded off with a win for Busters Ford Orion in the short but
manic DD |
