May weather held off with no downpours which threatened at times during
the day. With 76 cars racing throughout the day, the pits were busy and
the racing entertaining.
The field of 37 compact bangers put up a fine
display of mayhem with several different front runners throughout.
Warrior proved unstoppable in his Cherry to
take the win in the DD to round off the day.
3
specials demonstrated their ability to ride the soft ground with Adi
Bown flying throughout the day. 9 Juniors pushed each other hard with
some tough races.
Productions
put in fields of 7 cars for both FWD and RWD formulae. Hot Rods turned
out in similar numbers with some very nice looking and well prepared
cars on track.
As the
meeting drew to a close the soft track had deteriorated to an extent
where cars were stuck in the huge ruts...... not easy to contend with.
